Aji Charapita Pepper Grinder

Aji Charapitas are a rare variety of Peruvian chile renowned for their big flavor and small size (each pepper is about the size of a pea). They have a solid but not overwhelming kick (about 50,000 scoville heat units, similar to Cayenne or Aji Amarillo), along with a fruity, citrusy flavor.

Once considered the most expensive pepper in the world, a single pound is said to contain upwards of 20,000 peppers, meaning each of our pepper grinders contains almost 700 crushed individual peppers (very roughly speaking - we haven't counted).
