Crema de Aji Amarillo Recipe
Crema de Aji Amarillo is a delicious Peruvian condiment that you can use to drizzle or dip with anything from tacos, french fries, grilled chicken, or nachos.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Mayonnaise (sub in greek yogurt if desired)
- 1/4 cup Sour Cream
- 1/4 cup Queso Fresco (sub in feta cheese if desired)
- 2 tbsp Aji Amarillo Purée
- 1 Lime, juiced
- 1 Green Onion, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Dash of Ghost Pepper Powder (optional)
Method
- Chop green onions, juice lime, and crumble the queso fresco.
- Add everything to a food processor or blender.
- Blend until smooth. Add salt to taste. Add Ghost Pepper powder or more Aji purée if desired.
- Serve. Lasts in the fridge for up to 1 week.
