mount-diablo-hot-sauce
Mount Diablo 7-Pot Primo Hot Sauce

This is the hottest thing we’ve ever bottled, and quite possibly the hottest extract-free sauce ever created. So it felt fitting to name it for the looming mountain in our backyard that is littered with the bones of mastodons and sabertooth tigers.

We sent this sauce to a third-party lab, along with the hottest natural sauces we carry. Most of the extract-free superhots we tested came in under 100,000 Scoville Heat Units, while Mount Diablo came in at a whopping 153,000 SHU. This may sound tame next to sauces claiming millions, but those claims are often based on the dried pepper inside, without taking dilution into account.
